· Maintained the City’s strong financial status and bond rating

· Maintained our safety forces at the highest level of readiness

· Supported the creation of almost 400 new housing units

·       Upgraded all city playground equipment; returned basketball courts to Denison Park; new waterslide at Denison Park; added lights to Denison ball field; added skateboard park at Cain Park

·       Sponsored Annual Martin Luther King Day Program at the Community Center

·       Sponsored Youth Scholarship Fund for disadvantaged young athletes

·       Sponsored labor rights and anti- racial profiling legislation

·       Led effort to help Caledonia/Forest Hill resident seeking inclusion in the CH/UH school district

·       Authorized 1 million dollars per year to pave our streets.

·      Worked with cellular phone companies to improve the service given to our residents.

·      Started the initiation of a wi-fi   program to make all commercial areas and public parks wireless accessible for residents.

·      A voice for residents who believe it is not the job of a municipal government to recognize and approve the homosexual lifestyle.
